As life unfolds in unexpected ways, his journey explores chance, identity, and the unforeseen consequences of choosing love and opportunity over routine.

Find Me, Mom📚

Find me mother, is inspired by the life of a baby named Cemil, who was left in the courtyard of Fatih Mosque in 1974 and grew up without family support. The novel follows his life spent in orphanages and on the streets, where he faces hardship, exclusion, and the harsh indifference of society. Throughout the story, Cemil’s single, driving desire is to find his mother and answer the questions that have haunted him—why she left him, who his father is, and whether she ever loved or looked for him. His search embodies both his struggle to stay morally and spiritually intact and his courage in confronting the pain of abandonment, making his quest for connection the heart of the narrative.

Tottenham Boys📚

Tottenham Boys follows the challenging journey of young migrants in London, centering on the life of Keko, a teenager caught up in gang culture and its destructive consequences. The novel begins with a chance encounter on a London bus between the narrator—a journalist—and Keko, but much of the story unfolds through Keko’s past in eastern Turkey and the traditions that shaped him. In London, Keko becomes entangled with drugs, gangs, and the haunting phenomenon of youth suicides within the Turkish community, exposing the complex social, political, economic, and cultural forces behind these tragedies. Through this narrative, the book reveals that leaving a conflict-ridden homeland does not free migrants from deep-rooted problems, but instead brings them into new struggles in their adopted country.
